President's Message

It is both an Honor and a Privilege to serve as the 62nd President of Eastern States Building Officials Federation.

When I became a member in 1986 I was looking for a place where I could get educated on Codes, new building materials and issues faced daily by all Building Officials. I am pleased to say that ESBOF has provided me that that and much more. We are always facing new challenges within our profession, whether its budget cuts, regionalization, adoption of new codes or legislative issues; we cannot succeed without the help of all Building Officials.

I am also proud to represent ESBOF as your Chapter President to the International Code Council. The ICC is a valuable partner in code education and provides us with many resources to help educate our members. Through their commitment to provide the highest quality codes and standards our jobs are made easier and our constituents are safer.

This year as we celebrate our 64th Annual Educational Conference we would like to extend an invitation to Design professionals and Builders to share in our educational experience.
